UDW MEMBERSHIP.

Membership of the UDW is available to any UK worker and costs £10 per month. We not only provide our members with up to date advice through our legal department, but also provide you with a real time representative to accompany you to all meetings with your employer. No matter where you are working we will ensure that you have representation at all times.

As a trade union we are proud of our success rate over the years in securing many jobs and providing UK workers with representation, advice and support at work. The workplace and the problems that can occur within it are our speciality. A trade union representative is allowed using UK law, to come into your workplace, and provide you with actual accompanying representation to any meetings you may have to attend. This removes the stress of having to face your employer on your own.

 

FAIR USAGE.

We have recently introduced a fair usage policy to protect the majority of our members, and ensure that the highest level of service is always delivered. This measure was put in place to safeguard against persons who previously joined up, and used our service only to then cancel their membership once their issues at work were resolved, putting an unfair strain on our resources and affecting the level of service our genuine members should receive.

 

UPDATING YOUR UDW MEMBERSHIP.

We are carrying out a full audit of our membership and encourage members to check their bank statements and ensure their subscriptions are up to date. If you have moved house, changed your job or email / telephone number, please contact us and let us know, so that we can ensure that your membership is up to date and also keep you informed with current newsletters and information. SUBSCRIPTIONS.

The UDW can offer any member the opportunity to pay your subscription by standing order. The advantage of paying in this way means that, should you ever leave your job and take up employment elsewhere, the UDW will still be able to support and represent you at your new place of work. There will be no change to the cost of your UDW membership should you decide to pay by standing order.
